AquaJoy Terms of Use

These terms apply to the AquaJoy website and to the AquaJoy app for iPhone, both provided by Driftlab. By using the website or the app, you agree to these terms.

License to use the app

AquaJoy is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your license to use the app is granted under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, which applies in addition to these terms. Where the two conflict on licensing of the app itself, Apple’s agreement applies.

Not medical advice

AquaJoy is a habit and tracking tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition, and the goals, reminders, and progress it shows are not medical advice. Consult a qualified health professional about your own hydration needs, particularly if you have a medical condition affecting fluid intake.

Your hydration data

Your water logs, goal, streaks, levels, and pins are stored on your device. You are responsible for your device backups. Deleting the app normally removes this information. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Purchases

AquaJoy is free to download. Optional Premium access is available as an auto-renewing annual subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase. All purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple Account, at the price shown at the time of purchase for your storefront.

An annual subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can view, manage, or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies. Eligible purchases can be restored from within the app using Restore Purchases.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to interfere with the app or the website, circumvent purchase or entitlement checks, or use either in a way that breaks applicable law.

Availability and changes

We may update, change, or discontinue features of AquaJoy, and we may update these terms when the product or the law changes. The date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.

No warranty

AquaJoy is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reminders will always be delivered by the operating system.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Driftlab is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of AquaJoy. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under the consumer law that applies to you.
