AquaJoy Privacy Policy

AquaJoy is a hydration tracking app provided by Driftlab (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains what information is handled when you use AquaJoy and how it is used.
Information stored on your device
AquaJoy stores your water logs, daily goal, reminder preferences, custom cup sizes, onboarding status, XP, levels, streaks, and badges locally on your device. We do not operate an account system or receive this hydration information on our own servers. Deleting the app normally deletes this locally stored information unless your device or operating-system backup retains a copy.
Notifications
If you choose to enable reminders, AquaJoy asks iOS for notification permission and schedules hydration reminders on your device. You can disable reminders in AquaJoy or in iOS Settings at any time.
Purchases and RevenueCat
AquaJoy offers optional in-app purchases. Payments are processed by Apple; we do not receive your full payment-card details. We use RevenueCat, Inc. to validate purchases, restore access, manage Premium entitlements, prevent fraud, and understand aggregate purchase performance.
RevenueCat may process:
- An automatically generated anonymous App User ID.
- Purchase and subscription information, including Apple receipt data.
- Technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, and last-seen time.
We do not send your water logs or daily goal to RevenueCat. We do not provide RevenueCat with your name or email address through AquaJoy. RevenueCat handles information under its own Privacy Policy.
How information is used
Information handled through AquaJoy is used to:
- Provide hydration tracking and reminders.
- Process, validate, and restore Premium purchases.
- Determine whether Premium features should be available.
- Prevent purchase fraud and troubleshoot purchase problems.
- Measure aggregate purchase performance.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information and do not use your information for advertising tracking. Purchase and technical information is shared with Apple and RevenueCat only as needed to provide and operate in-app purchases, or when required by law.
Retention and deletion
Hydration information remains on your device until you remove it by deleting the app or clearing its data. Purchase records may be retained by Apple and RevenueCat as required to validate purchases, maintain lifetime access, prevent fraud, comply with law, and meet their own retention obligations. You may contact us about a privacy or deletion request using the address below. Some transaction records cannot be deleted where retention is legally required.
Children
AquaJoy is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information processed about you, such as access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection. Contact us to make a request. You can manage or cancel an Apple subscription from your Apple Account subscription settings and restore eligible purchases from within AquaJoy.
International processing
Apple and RevenueCat may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Their processing is governed by their policies and applicable safeguards.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when AquaJoy changes or when required by law. The date at the top identifies the latest version.
